Hillview Cottage is a 3 bedroom attractive Purbeck Stone terraced cottage that has been finished to a high specification. The property benefits from wonderful views across Swanage and to the Purbeck Hills, an enclosed decked garden with gate leads to allocated off street parking.

The cottage has been stylishly decorated and is situated over 3 floors, with an open plan living area, kitchen/diner and cloakroom on the ground floor. There are 2 bedrooms and family bathroom on the first floor and loft bedroom with some reduced head height on the top floor.

This corner of Dorset holds many delights for you to explore! Swanage is a traditional seaside town with a Victorian pier, sandy beach and a bustling high street. The villages surrounding Swanage are full of character and pretty picnic spots.

Local attractions include Monkey World, Bovington Tank Museum and Lulworth Cove.

We had a lovely stay at Hill View cottage. It was great to have off road parking as it was easy to unload the car through the back gate. We only had a little dog and the rear enclosed back yard was ideal for him as we could leave the French doors open and not worry. I think a big dog would be too big for the the yard. The view from kitchen window wRead moreas lovely. Ideal location 10 min walk to town centre. I think that the owner should stipulate that shoes must be removed at front door. We dont allow shoes on in our house and this will keep carpets clean. The bedrooms were lovely and well kitted out with good storage, plenty of clothes hangers. The kitchen had all the utensils you needed. The cleaning team was very thorough with some lovely touches. Hide

We had a lovely stay in Hillview Cottage. We were booked for a week and extended for a further 3 nights. The accommodation was just as described. The kitchen had all necessary items if wanting to cook. Milk, Coffee and Tea was an added treat. Washing Machine and Dishwasher a bonus. Would recommend and stay again.

Bedrooms and bathrooms very clean and beds very comfortable. Kitchen well equipment, space downstairs a little tight. A barbeque for the garden would be useful.

Definitely worth staying at the added bonus if you need public transport its right by the cottage walking distance into town with some great shops and eaterys , the cottage is well equipped modern and very comfortable will definitely be returning.

A beautiful modern property. Furnishings and fittings are nice and modern and there is a good supply of equipment and crockery (maybe a few more small plates would be good) in the kitchen. Ideal for families. Location is on the edge of the town centre and suited us perfectly. Its up a hill from the centre but one of the routes isnt steep at all. Read more Good private parking with easy access to the rear of the house. Rooms are well proportioned with plenty of space. Stayed here before and liked it enough to return. As on my previous stay the only downside is that the WiFi doesnt work and despite numerous attempts to contact the owner (without success) no explanation or help was given. Im just pleased I didnt need to contact the owners for anything more serious, Fortunately it didnt spoil our holiday. Hide

Booked this house for a Christmas break with family and dog. The house is modern but with character and extremely comfortable. It is tastefully decorated and very well equipped. It is over 3 floors and there are steps to the front door so may not suit those with mobility issues although access from the car parking has only a couple of steps. The sRead moretandard of furniture and, crockery, equipment etc is good. We had a really good time. Plenty of places to walk the dog and dog friendly venues for eating and drinking. The owners had made a great effort with really effective Christmas decorations and friendly touches such as a gift for the dog. Overall it is a really nice house in a good location. Hide

We had a lovely time in sunny Swanage.. Appreciated the welcome goodies for us and dog. Also the shopper and sandwich bags, tea / coffee and beach items were very handy thank you.
