Sail Away is a beautiful, modern and spacious house located in Brixham, on the Furzeham Green side and sleeps up to seven guests. The house enjoys elevated, sweeping views over Torbay, with the parkland of Furzeham Green in the foreground. Sail Away is in an ideal location to explore Brixham on foot. The busy, historic harbour, restaurants and bars are all within a 5 minute walk down the steps. Due to the elevated position of the property it offers guests somewhere quiet away from the main town when it is time to wind down. Take a leisurely walk back up the steps and enjoy the gorgeous sea views with a glass of wine from the patio terrace. Opposite the property is Furzeham Green, this park is dog friendly all year round and has absolutely stunning views of the bay and the breakwater. It is a beautiful sight to behold when the cruise ships anchor in front of Torbay. Fishcombe Cove is less than ten minutes walk away with its award winning cafe and dog friendly beach.

Sail Away has private garage parking in the block around the back of the house. The garage is suitable for a estate or 4x4 (garage is 3.0m wide x 5.5m long and 1.8m clear height).

As you enter the house you are greeted by a spacious hallway and a view through the open plan layout to the sea. From the hallway you can access the well equipped kitchen with a large fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and dining table. The living room is spacious and flooded with light, enjoying a panoramic view through the full height patio windows. Furniture includes two, high end, leather sofas with a leather armchair and state of the art OLED TV. The patio can be accessed via the large sliding doors. With four bedrooms, there is ample space for all the family and the property offers two bathrooms for guests providing plenty of comfort and ease of use.

Living Room Two large three seater leather sofas, one leather swivel armchair, 55" OLED wall mounted Smart TV, DVD Player, wall mounted, flame effect electric fire. Leading via the sliding doors to patio terrace with sea views.

Kitchen Modern, well equipped gloss kitchen including electric oven with grill, electric hob, washing machine, dishwasher, fridge plus fridge/freezer, microwave. Dining table with seating for seven.

Shower Room Large walk in shower, WC, hand basin, heated towel rail and "porthole" mirror

Outside Space: Sail Away has two outdoor areas. A large sea view terrace with views of the sea and over to Torbay; there is a large table with seating provided for seven people. A small sunny patio by the entrance door is equipped with a bistro set, ideal for morning coffee.

Parking: Garage parking available (3.0m wide x 5.5m long) in the garage block behind the house (1.8m clear height).

Changeover Day: Saturday - Arrival: 5pm 17:00 - Departure: 9am 9:00

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Pets Welcome: Maximum of 1 Dog Accepted. £25 per pet per week.

Power and Heat: Electricity is included in the rent. Electric wall mounted heaters in each room. Heated towels rails in the bathrooms.

Bedding & Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided. (Please bring your own beach towels).

Baby Equipment: Travel Cot, High Chair and Stair Gate (please bring your own linen for the travel cot)

Fantastic Christmas week at Sail Away. The house had been beautifully decorated. Really well equipped with everything we needed and great location with such easy access to Battery Gardens and the coastal path. Weve stayed in multiple holiday lets in Brixham over the years and this definitely is one of the best.

We couldnt fault this property or the location. The owners had considered everything, and the kitchen cupboards were stocked with every plate, cup, glass, and utensil you could possibly need, and as a group of 6 we really appreciated the dishwasher. It was spotlessly clean, and the house was tastefully decorated with an appropriate nautical theme, Read morewith wonderful attention to detail, and felt newly done. It seemed very spacious for the six of us that stayed there. Having a garage to park our car in was a bonus, as was the terrace area where we sat and watched the sunsets over the harbour, and the dog walkers in the park next door. The views from the two back bedrooms are stunning. It was a short walk downhill to Brixham harbour and the town, and although it was a relatively steep walk back, there is a bus stop right outside the property. The bus routes from the town are very good and make it easy to get to Torquay, Paignton, Newton Abbot and Exeter for days out. We stayed there as a family of three generations (aged 16 to 77) and all of us agreed it was perfect and the owners had clearly made their guests comfort and convenience a priority. We highly recommend Sail Away (and Brixham) as a holiday destination. Hide

Access to harbour or local coves no good for people with mobility problems. Too hilly and too many steps. Otherwise very well equipped.

We had 2 kids and 4 adults at Sail Away. We all agreed the property was clean, comfortable and well equipped with plenty of space. The view from the front is stunning.

As a family of 5 we had an amazing week at Sail Away., There is so much to do locally as well as a short walk or drive away, from the free open air swimming pool, bars, restaurants ,boat trips and beaches. There was more than enough room for us all and there was more than enough equipment. You really don't need to bring anything but toiletries anRead mored beach towels. Having a shower room as well as a bathroom was great with taking 3 teenagers on holiday! Beds were comfy and everyone slept well. There was even a towel for the dog. There are buckets and spades, deck chairs, umbrellas and games/books for rainy days. The location was perfect, being outside of the harbour meant it was nice and peaceful but only a short walk down to the shops, beach and harbour. Although be aware , there are lots of steps down into the town! Local beaches are pebbles although that dint bother any of us, although I would say maybe invest in some beach shoes if you are planning on visiting the local coves and Blackpool Sands. There is a sandy beach at Broadsands Beach. I would definately recommends to friends and family and come back again Hide

A very comfortable house. Everything you need and beautiful views over Torbay. Only downside a steep walk back up from but the views are great. . Would certainly return.

Stayed at Sail Away for a week at the beginning of July really great location with a lovely park opposite, perfect for the dog, gorgeous sea views and short walk to the harbour with two fantastic pubs for pitstops on the walk back up the hill, the Queens Arms and the Manor. Sail Away was immaculate, super clean, lots of space and really comfortablRead moree, really well equipped kitchen, bathrooms very modern with good showers, perfect patio area with table and chairs to enjoy the sunshine and views of the sea, stunning sea view from lounge and bedrooms. Having the garage was a real bonus we have stayed in some lovely cottages in Brixham but parking is usually a challenge Sail Away took the stress away so we could pop out in the car on day trips knowing the garage was there when we got back! Highly recommend Sail Away and will be booking again for next year. Also I left an item in the house when we left and Original Cottages were really helpful in sending this back to me really quickly, I was impressed by this service. Hide

Lovely week at Sail Away. The property is perfect, well equipped and just a short walk down to the harbour. The view from the property is stunning, you could spend hours just sitting looking out to sea. Would definitely stay again.
