Description

After a day exploring the South Devon coast, return to this sleek, stylish and high-quality property with its bright, comfortable interior and fabulous outside space. Located in the charming coastal village of Down Thomas, it’s been carefully designed as a relaxing getaway for friends or families, with convenient access to the shops and eateries of Plymouth, just 6 miles away. Walkers will enjoy the gorgeous local scenery, while beach lovers have a choice – there are four beaches within 10 miles. The attractions of Pennywell Farm and Woodlands Family Theme Park are both less than 23 miles, and when you return home there’s no need to cook – the adjacent pub is renowned for its excellent food and has a play area in its beer garden to keep the little ones happy.

At one end of a four-property terrace, this gorgeous getaway was built in 2021 and is a lovely mix of clean, contemporary lines, luxurious furnishings and tranquil, co-ordinated colours. There are four steps down to the front door, and then you’ll enter straight into the light-filled, open-plan living space. The stylish kitchen area contains everything you’ll need for easy-going holiday meals, with a dining area adjacent surrounded by bench seating. After supper, flop on the comfortable sofa and read a book or switch on the Smart TV and stream your favourite show. One of the three super king-size bedrooms is on this level, boasting a spacious bedspace with an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath and a door that leads directly onto the patio. Take the stairs to the first floor and you’ll find the remaining two bedrooms, both with en-suite showers.

For fresh air and outside space, doors from the lounge lead directly to the wraparound patio and expansive lawn. The end of the garden is sectioned by a natural hedge line with animal farming in the fields beyond so please keep dogs on leads at all times. Relax with an al fresco meal or drink, perhaps pour some bubbles to enjoy in the hot tub as you take in the gorgeous countryside views. You’ll have your own parking space for one car, and there’s additional parking in the pub car park (subject to availability).
