This traditional large 3 bedroom apartment, located in the highly sought area of Bayard's cove, in the historic town of  Dartmouth, offers you stunning views over the River Dart and out to sea. Accommodating up to 8 people, this property gives you the space and tranquillity for the perfect stay but yet in the hub of all Dartmouth's amenities including art shops, cafes and award winning restaurants, along with the famous Bayard's Cove Inn, just a stones throw away. You can also take the ferry from Dartmouth to Kingswear and catch a steam train to Totnes or Paignton from Dartmouth Steam Railway, for a memorable adventure. 

Enjoy the spacious layout in this apartment feel building with lots of charm and character and with the most mesmerising views!

Entrance Hall: Shoe cupboard, occasional table and glass fronted cupboard with a choice of children books. There is also a portable single z-bed for additional sleeping arrangements.

Living Room: Two settees, side table and lamps, coffee table & chairs, Panasonic TV with video/photo viewing, WiFi and DVD player.

Kitchen: fridge, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob with electric oven and extractor.  

Bathroom 1: Large curved walk in shower cubicle with power shower, WC, hand wash basin inset in a vanity unit, mirror and lights above and heated towel rail. 

Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6) single bed (2'6) single comfort chair, two chest of drawers, large triple wardrobe with built in cupboard storage,wall mounted Panasonic TV and alarm clock. Beautiful River Dart Views.

Utility room: Vacuum, clothes airer, Whirlpool washing machine and separate dryer.

Bedroom 2: Double bed (4'6) and sofa bed for two, matching bedside tables with lamps, large double wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and drawers, chest of drawers, wall mirror, TV with set top box.Beautiful River Dart Views.

Bedroom 3: Double bed (4'6), single wardrobe with lower drawer, chest of drawers, two bedside tables and lamps, wall mirror. Beautiful River Dart Views.

Bathroom 2: Bath with wall mounted shower, WC, integrated wash basin and vanity unit and mirror.

 

GARDEN AND PARKING:

Although there is no parking with this property, there is a parking permit available all year round at the Mayors Avenue Car Park in the Centre of Dartmouth although this does not guarantee a space especially in peak season. There is no garden with this property.

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £350, which is payable to Original Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Power and Heating: Electricity included in rent, central heating throughout, heated towel rail in bathrooms.

Baby Equipment: Not available but may be hired locally.

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels).

Shop: 0.3 ml  Pub: 0.1 ml.

NOTES: No smoking, 1 small dog, WiFi Available. Mobile reception varies.

Steps: There are 2 steps into the property from the street level and 3 steps in the hallway.

Please let us know if the sofa bed is required when booking.

The accommodation is perfect, plenty of space and amazing views from all the Estuary facing windows. This is our second stay because we love the area and this is one of the best apartments we have stayed at. The staff at Original Cottages were, as ever, very helpful. Spotlessly clean and comfortable lounge with three large bedrooms and would accoRead moremodate three couples. Our beds were comfortable and there was plenty of eating space in the kitchen. Sadly no necessities were provided on arrival and had to do a small emergency shopping to see us over until the morning. Good supermarkets are mostly within walking distance and a short walk down the hill behind the apartment there are some amazing eateries and the main shopping area. The slope down from the offloading area is quite steep and the front step a little difficult but once inside you will be well rewarded. The free parking pass for the Mayor's Carpark was most acceptable but we were lucky to be able to get the occasional space in a closed location. Hide

This apartment was everything we was looking for. We stayed for four nights over the Christmas holiday. Having three double bedrooms gave us plenty of room to be able to relax, the kitchen had everything i needed in it to cook a Christmas lunch and views from every room was stunning. The property was warm and very clean. The communication from the Read moreletting company was also very good. Hide

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bayards Cottage. The apartment was very spacious and we loved the views from the living area, kitchen and bedrooms. Beds were comfortable and bedrooms were all a good size. Loved the location and the short proximity to the town centre. Would love to stay again

The cottage is in a very convenient location with stunning views across the river. As has been mentioned before parking is a bit of a nightmare for loading/unloading (we had to stop on double yellow lines) but that was the compromise to be able to stay in that location and the parking pass to a nearby car park was a welcome addition. The cottage haRead mores so much space and was very clean on arrival. It has very comfortable beds and we were grateful for the blackout blinds in the bedrooms. My only gripe was a lack of a welcome tray- nothing says 'welcome' more than a home baked cake or local biscuits, a pint of milk in the fridge and some basic items such as tea & coffee. I'll be honest this is the first place I've ever stayed where there has been literally nothing to welcome us after our journey. In spite of this, I would definitely recommend this property for its location and comfort. Hide

Great location and plenty of space within the property for people to relax. Short walk into the town and all the amenities. Great views of the estuary from all rooms. Having two teenagers with us the wi-fi was essential and very reliable. Nice to have a smart TV in all bedrooms (again helps with 2 teenagers!!). Would definitely recommend

Beautiful accommodation in a first class location. Parking can be a bit of a challenge but the walk to mayors avenue car park isnt too far if you have to park there. The views across the river are amazing and the property is closer to the local shops, bars and restaurants than we realised.
