Set in the heart of the glorious Devon countryside and just 13 miles from Exmoor National Park, this charming cottage sits adjacent to the owner’s home, yet privacy is assured. Ideal for families or friends, it’s a perfect venue to relax and enjoy some peace and tranquillity within stunning countryside. Visit the rural town of South Molton, just 6 miles away, with its eclectic array of shops, tearooms and farmers’ market. Visit the Quince Honey Farm, with a farm shop and soft play area 8 miles from the house. Explore the gardens and tearoom at Castle Hill Estate, 10 miles away, or try rock climbing, kayaking, coasteering and more at Rock and Rapids Adventures, also 10 miles from the property. Venture out on one of the many pretty riverside and country walks nearby to fully appreciate the local surroundings and wildlife, or explore the wonderful sandy, surfing beaches of the North Devon Coast, 24 miles away.

This semi-detached cottage offers spacious accommodation and is full of character and charm. There’s a large kitchen diner with slate flooring and original beams, which is well equipped with a lovely farmhouse-style dining table, making mealtimes a breeze. The separate lounge has a warming wood burner set inside an impressive old stone fireplace, Smart TV and comfy sofas, as well as a selection of books and games – a great space to enjoy quality time together. Head upstairs to find the three bedrooms: one king-size with en-suite shower room and WC, one double room, and one twin room. The family bathroom completes the accommodation and has a bath with an electric shower over and a WC.

Stepping outside, you’ll find a small, gravelled area with seating at the front of the property and a separate enclosed paddock area sits at the back, with a large expanse of lawn ideal for exercising pets or playing ball games. (please note the paddock does not have dog proof fencing and is to be used at the homeowners degression)

A lovely traditional cottage in the heart of Devon, had everything we needed for a great stay. This is a well looked after place with all the necessary amenities and in a beautiful location in the heart of Devon. The living room and kitchen are great with the open fire and modern oven/hob respectively. The garden for the property and the other outside spaces around it are super cute. Andy and Sharon are very responsive and amenable for anRead morey needs, they gave us basic supplies, free eggs from their hens, stocked up our toilet paper, helped us with lifts to get around places when other options were limited etc, and were just great company in general. It's well looked after and well setup for anyone that wants a get away in the countryside, just make sure you have your own transport or you won't be going anywhere quickly. We actually spent a significant of the time that we were there fasting and that was really made significantly more easy by how accommodating Andy and Sharon were to us in general and to what we were up to and needed. This was a gem of a find for us. The cottage was warm, clean and had everything we needed for our New Year stay. Smashing log burner,family table in the kitchen for meals and games and dog friendly. Hosts were lovely.

A beautiful cottage in a peaceful setting. Sharon and Andy were lovely hosts who gave us a warm welcome and made our stay really comfortable. Would highly recommend if you are looking to get away from it all. South Molton Pannier Market was brilliant! Our dog Ralph enjoyed investigating the lovely garden and campsite field around the property.
