Reviews

We had a wonderful stay. Everything worked very well for us: weather; location; warm and comfortable property; sunny garden; a short walk for supermarket, fish and chips and pub; other hostelries within a short drive. On bus route to Sidmouth (and perhaps further afield). Thank you.

Mrs P,

I would not recommendd this so called "cottage". We gave up and didn't stay the full time we had booked.

Ms J,

A comfortable well-equipped house. It's a pleasant two mile parkland green walk to the Sidmouth sea front, or there is a half-hourly bus. There is a well-stocked Spar shop within 5 minutes walk, and a Waitrose about 1.5 miles away. Plenty of places to visit by car or bus.

Mr G,

A pleasant stay in sidford.

Ms C,

We have stayed here for several years, only because of its excellent location. Peaceful and of good size. Otherwise the property is of poor standard compared to other similar holiday cottages. Big screen TV and Wi-Fi and new dishwasher do not compensate for faded pictures, tired lampshades, tired mattresses on twin beds, uncomfortable sofa, cracked toilet cistern and general tired state of bathroom, tired kitchen, freezer iced up, dowdy feel and decor… you get the idea. I am not posting a review on trust pilot.

Mr A,

Very comfortable & spacious house in an ideal location to visit local areas. Great for families. We had a very nice week as a family of 5.

Mrs R,

Farthings is a bit dated perhaps even a bit quirky with one or two issues, however, if the issues were addressed the property is in its in a nice quite location at the end of the byes, with a plain south facing garden and a regular a bus service near by.

Mr J,

Everything was perfect.it felt like home
