Description
Everything’s been thought of at this stunning two-bed cottage in Beer – with the added bonus of a parking space! This beautiful seaside retreat is light and airy with stylish interiors and lovely decor with nautical motifs throughout. It makes a really couple or family-friendly base for exploring this vibrant and pretty village and the wider East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. And the fact that you’re within 0.5 miles of the shingly beach is a real winner too.
This modern end-of-terrace cottage offers open-plan living accommodation downstairs in the lounge/kitchen/diner. This bright room has underfloor heating ensuring it’s really cosy. Cook in the contemporary kitchen with all mod cons to eat at the table easily seating four and near enough to the kitchen for the chef to feel part of things. Suitably sated, sink into the inviting sofa seating in the lounge area. Upstairs await one elegant king-size bedroom and a charming twin – both calming spaces for a great night’s sleep. To the front of the property is a small seating area with shared access boasting pretty artificial hanging baskets which adorn the walls. There is also a bench and a bistro set, where you can sip a morning coffee or enjoy a sundowner at the end of the day.
Take the chance to explore the impressive Jurassic Coast during your getaway. By foot you can join the South West Coast Path and get a different perspective. Seaton is just 2 miles away by the footpath, or keep going and let it all hang out (quite literally!) at Haven Cliffs Naturist Beach (3.5 miles). Branscombe Beach is a 3-mile walk via an inland route. Ride on the Seaton Tramway out to Colyton and back if you get tired of all that walking. For something a bit different, check out the great work they do at The Donkey Sanctuary in Sidmouth (6.5 miles).
