An exquisite barn conversion with country and sea views, nestled on a small grazing farm on the Suffolk coast. This hideaway is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking a luxurious beachside retreat. Amble or cycle along the winding coastal trail to the quaint town of Bawdsey and Bawdsey Quay (6 miles) which are separate places. Just moments away, visit the natural lagoon.The seasonal foot ferry leaves from the quay and takes a few minutes to get across the Deben where you will find pubs, café, fish stalls and a golf course.  Felixstowe is 22 miles by road (A12/A14) and better if you want town, gardens and beach, huts, cafes and restaurants. Don’t miss the market town of Woodbridge, 9 miles, where you can scope out the best local delis, bakeries, and independent shops.

This two-storey property is brimming with character and boasts spectacular panoramic views over the land and sea. Step inside the spacious lobby, perfect for storing outdoor gear, leading through to an open-plan living area. Whip up some snacks in the stylish kitchen or enjoy a feast around the large dining table. Retreat to lounge and relax on the plush sofas in front of the crackling wood burner or open the patio doors and let the sea breeze drift inside. The sleeping areas consist of an airy twin room on the ground floor, as well as a cosy single with a pull out bed, and large master king-size room with river views and an en-suite shower room on the first floor. The main family bathroom is also located upstairs.

Large glass doors from the lounge open onto the raised wooden deck with outdoor furniture, a grass lawn, and outstanding coastal views out towards Orford.

We enjoyed ourselves as a family the view and the enticing lounge were a bonus, yes a little dayed but I am sure will be improved next year.
