This attractive apartment is located on the ground floor of a grand Victorian house in the fishing town of Padstow. Take a stroll along the beautiful harbour and lose yourself in its maze of picturesque, narrow streets. Stop off for a traditional Cornish pasty, or pop into a teashop for some afternoon tea. Alternatively, pack up a picnic and head to one of the beaches on the Camel Estuary. Stroll along the wide sandy beach of Harbour Cove (3 miles), which is sheltered from all but the strongest of breezes, or head to Polzeath Beach (15 miles) with your surf board. There are lots of long slow breaking, consistent waves and you may even be lucky enough to spot a dolphin or two. Or grab your bike and hit the Camel Trail, which runs 12 miles from Padstow along the route of the old railway line to Bodmin. It’s a great place to spot otters, bats and kingfishers.

Step inside and you’ll find a sophisticated lounge/kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to slip onto the sofa and enjoy the estuary views before heading to the kitchen to cook. You’ll find everything you need to whip up tasty meals. Get the whole gang together to dine in the stylish dining area with seating for four – the views are wonderful. Two sofas are set around the TV in the lounge, where the furnishings create a charming, country-style atmosphere. When it’s time for bed there are two cosy bedrooms to choose from – a twin zip-and-link (can be a super-king on request) with an en-suite shower room, or a king-size with an en-suite shower room.

The communal garden features charming, shared patio areas to the front and rear of the building. Pour yourself a glass of something cool and crisp and pull up a chair on the decked area to the front of the property and enjoy the outstanding estuary views. There’s also a handy BBQ for al fresco dining.

Great little apartment in excellent location with parking space. It is well equipped, warm and has beautiful views across Padstow and the Camel Estaury. My husband and I have stayed here before and would do so again.

We have spent a week at the apartment in Pentyre every year since 2006. It is beautifully located for many attractions locally and further afield.. it is very well appointed with ample equipment, comfortable beds and a view across the Camel Estuary.

This flat is very comfortable and contains everything you could possibly want for self catering. The views are superb and the clearly allocated parking is excellent. The location is wonderful- so easy to bob into Padstow. We all loved being here and thoroughly recommend it.

We were very happy with the apartment. It was very well equipped, very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The lounge and dining area were a good size with great views over the estuary. We would go there again.

We have stayed at 1 Pentyre on multiple occasions including multiple Xmas breaks. Fully equipped kitchen, we have cooked Xmas lunch on multiple occasions with no issues. The allocated parking is a good feature. Fantastic location with a great view. In all our stay we have never had any issues and have all always enjoyed our time at Pentyre. We have been coming to 1 Pentyre House for nearly 20 years and we are never disappointed. It is a wonderful setting just slightly removed from the hustle and bustle of the town. The apartment is beautifully appointed and regularly updated. We have booked again for next year!!
