Trenarlett Farm is in a wonderfully tranquil spot in the heart of rural Cornwall. Dickins Cottage was converted from a cattle barn into luxury, top quality accommodation. Beautifully restored and appointed it is set on the sunny side of the valley above the River Camel (access for fishing may be available by arrangement).  Extremely spacious and well equipped, with large comfortable beds and sofas, underfloor heating and bedroom suites at each end, Dickins' has everything you need for a relaxing break, be it with family or friends. This property's eco credentials include solar power and water saving measures on their taps and in their showers. The property was built using FSC and PEFC certified timber by local tradesmen, supporting the owners to reduce their carbon footprint. Firewood provided is from naturally fallen or felled for safety trees from the farm. The owners also installed various measures to mitigate an disturbance to wildlife, have nurtured and added to a small orchard planting native West Country species, planted new hedgerows and have worked hard to protect the river banks on the farm. Independent from the farm and each other, a combination of cottages could be booked together for larger parties. The surrounding villages offer a range of friendly pubs serving food and wildlife lovers, birdwatchers, keen walkers and cyclists will be in their element with the wilds of Bodmin Moor and the famous Camel Trail practically on the doorstep. Those feeling really energetic can reach Padstow along the Trail, so bringing bikes is definitely worth it (but they can be hired locally). Just 10 minutes' drive from the A30 and 5 from the Atlantic Highway (A39) you are well placed to enjoy the whole county. The coast path, numerous beaches, Padstow, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Boscastle, Polzeath, Eden and much more are all there waiting to be explored. Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3' - may be linked together to make 6' superking), wardrobe, dressing table, bedside cabinets, external door. En suite Wetroom: Thermostatic shower, w.c., basin.

GARDEN & PARKING: Parking for 2 cars. Fully enclosed garden, slate paved and gravel from main front entrance up steps to lawned side garden with garden furtiture and barbecue. Further pretty open courtyard area to front with seating and pergolas. Covered area for bikes/hanging wetsuites/storing surfboards etc.

Very welcoming hosts. The cottage is very comfortable, very clean and well equipped. Lovely location, just a short drive to local beauty spots. Would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay in Dickens Cottage, everything was perfect. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the showers brilliant too. The house had everything as described on the advert, the location was quiet and quite isolated but as long as youre willing to drive out for things it was brilliant, Sophy the host was very friendly and the walkiRead moreng field for the dog was an added bonus. It is a very spacious, comfortable cottage with good quality bedding and equipment. Sophie was a very friendly host willing to help with any problem. It was the most comfortable cottage we have stayed in - and we have stayed in many. It will be hard to beat!

Wonderful cottage in a great location for mid-Cornwall and coastal areas. Exceptionally clean, with really comfortable beds, it has everything you need for a holiday. Two en-suite rooms, separate kitchen and lounge. Just fantastic!

Beautiful conversion, well-equipped. The two en-suite bathrooms were particularly useful and the layout of the bedrooms at either end of the property worked well.

We visit Cornwall regularly and Dickinson Cottage is right up there with many of the properties we have stayed in. It is well thought out in its layout. Really comfortable and coming back to this part of Cornwall we will be looking to stay here again

This is the third time we have stayed at Dickins Cottage, because we've always had a positive experience. The owners are very helpful and pleasant. The position of the cottage is perfect. We would highly recommend staying there.

We had a wonderful week at Dickins Cottage. It was spotless, very well equipped, very comfortable, beautiful surroundings & good location for us. Sophy was very friendly & even let us bring our convalescing cat after an accident the week before. The property was also very suitable for our dog with hard floors & a good enclosed garden. He did like tRead moreo sit in front of the glass xoors & bark if the neighbours passed in their car though! The cottages are quite private however, & we didn't feel surrounded by other holiday makers. The conversions of farm buildings have been very well done. Ws would heartily recommend this cottage & would like to return. Hide

Very nice and lovely owner, beautyful cottages in a very nice area. All dogfriendly, our two dogs and we enjoyed three weeks in Dickins Cottage. There is all you need. We drive to beautyful beaches, you can reach in 30 - 45 minutes. We come back again!
