Situated in the peaceful farm hamlet of Trenarlett and forming part of the original Farmhouse, The West Wing is a characterful, self-contained, two-storey property offering extremely spacious, yet cosy and comfortable, high quality accommodation for 2. Tucked away down a quiet lane on the side of the Camel Valley, you can immediately unwind and enjoy the wonderful surroundings in this truly relaxing hideaway. Wake up, if you can drag yourself from the super-comfy super-king bed, to the beautiful far-reaching views from the sash window in the spacious bedroom. Wander into the equally generous en-suite bathroom, where you can freshen up in the walk-in shower, whilst eyeing up the oversized bath for a good soak later when you return from your day`s adventures. Take time to sit and enjoy the peace and views from the large enclosed sunny garden with the morning papers, and later maybe with a glass of wine while the BBQ gets going! Listen to the Tawny owls calling and you may even be lucky enough to see the resident Barn owl at dusk, swooping overhead. 

Opportunities for walking and cycling are endless, not least with the Camel Trail at the bottom of the lane. Bodmin Moor, numerous beautiful beaches, the coast path and unlimited places of interest for days out are all close by. The surrounding four villages each have a well-stocked shop, post office and thriving pub, between them serving a wide variety of food and ales.  Away from it all, yet only 10 minutes drive from the A30 or A39, and with so much to see and do all in easy reach, The West Wing is the perfect base and is well-equipped with everything you need for a truly relaxing holiday. The hamlet consists of the farmhouse and a small cluster of detached cottages, each with their own gardens and parking etc, so larger groups can be accommodated if booked together. Kitchen:
Stable door into kitchen, Under-counter fridge, electric cooker with double oven, grill and ceramic hob, washer/dryer, dishwasher, slow cooker microwave, hot water via electric on demand supply. Glazed door to: 
Lounge/ Dining room: Very large room with granite fireplace and wood-burner, dining table and chairs for 6, 2 double sofas, occasional tables, Smart TV and DVD player and under-counter freezer.


FIRST FLOOR: Landing area with door to:

Bedroom: Very large Bedroom with Super-King bed (6`..may be unlinked to make twin 3`...please order in advance). Wardrobe, large chest of drawers, TV, dressing table and upholstered chair, bedside drawers with lamps, large snuggle chair with reading lamp (can convert to a comfy extra single bed if required-charges may apply for additional occupants). Ample space for cot. Door to En-suite Bathroom: Large bath, separate walk-in thermostatic mains pressure shower, WC, basin with cupboard under and mirror with shaver/toothbrush socket over.

GARDEN & PARKING: Gravelled approach and parking area outside the property, slate slab path to entrance door (caution as may be slippery when wet), feature stone well (blocked off for safety), slope up to large rear enclosed lawned area, with garden furniture, washing line, BBQ. Please note the garden may be unavailable during March - May due to lambing season. 

Changeover Day: Friday - Check-in from 5pm and check out by 10am
Pets: £20 per pet per week Information about bringing your pet. Please note that dogs are not permitted upstairs at all or on lounge furniture - a stairgate is available on request if helpful. Please call us if you wish to bring more than 2 dogs as this may be possible by prior arrangement.
Power and Heat: Electricity and oil included in rent; Oil fired heating to radiators in all rooms plus additional towel rail and hot water in bathroom. Hot water in kitchen is electric on demand.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own beach towels). Please order unlinked beds in advance.
Baby Equipment: Travel cot available on request; other equipment may be hired - see hire page.
Shop: 1.5 mls Pub: 1.5 mls

Lovely property set in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. Warm and friendly hosts, nothing too much trouble and always on hand if anything needed. Very clean and comfortable cottage with great super king bed and walk in shower. Ideally positioned to explore north and south Cornwall.
