A deceptively spacious shepherd’s hut welcoming up to four guests, located on a peaceful farm close to Berwick-upon-Tweed. Adventuring along the Northumberland coastline is easy, with the beautiful Cheswick Sands and Nature Reserve accessed just 4 miles away. This lovely beach is often very quiet, so you can explore in peace while admiring the wildlife that resides here. Running along the shoreline is the Northumberland Coast Path, a long-distance walking route that takes in superb, far-reaching views. Visit the tranquil Routin Linn Waterfall set in a bluebell wood 5.5 miles away, or the woodland and outcrops at St Cuthbert’s Cave (7.5 miles). Berwick-upon-Tweed (7.5 miles) has a rich history and lots to see and do, and you can also head slightly further north into Scotland (12 miles).
Situated in a paddock with three other shepherd’s huts, this pretty property has been thoughtfully designed to make the most of the space. It is bright and welcoming as soon as you alight the steps into the hut. A galley-style kitchen has a couple of amenities for cooking up quick and easy meals or preparing picnics for your long days out. There is a little breakfast bar, a flame effect electric fire, and a bookshelf filled with books that have been provided by the owner. To the right is a bench seat that turns into a single bed, while there’s also a king-size bed with a single bunk bed over it for your sleeping arrangements. Completing the property is a family shower room with a shower and a WC.
Immediately outside is a small patio area with a picnic bench where you can enjoy a morning coffee and admire the rural surrounds. There is also a fire pit for keeping warm in the evening. Private parking is provided for one car.
