Pick up fish and chips (350 metres) for an easy supper back at the apartment or browse for local produce in the town's vibrant market atmosphere. Locally, visit the famous Derwent Pencil Museum (150 metres) or Keswick Museum and Art Gallery (0.5 miles). At Derwentwater (0.5 miles) you can go on scenic cruises and hire motor boats and keen walkers can enjoy the spectacular 10-mile route around the lake. Outdoor enthusiasts can tackle Skiddaw (5 miles) and Blencathra (7 miles), while at Bassenthwaite Lake (4 miles) you can go wild swimming, paddleboarding and boating.

Inside, you’ll have a welcoming open-plan living space with deluxe underfloor-heated tiled floors throughout. The second has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed that can be arranged as twins on request, along with a cosy two-seater sofa. The third bedroom is bright and cheerful, with twin zip-and-link beds that can be converted into a super-king-size bed. All three bedrooms feature quality furnishings and luxury linens. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath and WC.

Outside, guests are very welcome in the generously sized shared garden, which is equipped with outdoor furniture for relaxing in the fresh air.
