Escape with your loved ones to the bright and breezy villa just 150m from Millendreath Beach and 2.5 miles from Looe. Sleeping four people in two bedrooms, it’s ideal for small families or groups of friends who are in search of a beachy hideaway to call home while they discover the wild beauty of Cornwall together. Stroll just 150m from your front door and you’ll find scenic Millendreath Beach. The popular seaside town of Looe is a short drive away, or the keen walkers can enjoy a stunning coastal walk - here you'll find a picturesque harbour, beach, shops and restaurants and enjoy boat trips to Looe island, a wildlife sanctuary.  Alternatively, head to the South West Coast Path (0.5 miles) and enjoy an invigorating hike to Seaton (3.5 miles), where the beautiful Hessenford Valley meets the sea. Further afield, treat yourself to a day exploring the global gardens and world famous biomes at the Eden Project (24.5 miles).

Step inside and you’ll find a bright and cheerful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner that’s bathed in natural light from the large patio doors. Take a moment to appreciate the beach-house-chic decor and adorable coastal design touches. The small kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to prepare pack lunches and evening meals to enjoy outside or at the dining table. Afterwards, stretch out on a sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV. When the day is done, you have two coastal-themed bedrooms to choose from – a double and twin. A smart family shower room completes the layout.

The star of the show is undoubtedly the large balcony/terrace, which offers spectacular views of the valley and sea. Stetch out on a sun lounger or host a fun al fresco meal at the stylish dining table. Stroll to the beach cafe to enjoy good value meals, or enjoy a cocktail and pizza at the Sip and Slice beach bar.  Car parking is at the main car park just in front of the property at a cost of £20 per week.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Ocean Breeze Hillside, Millendreath. The location was very close to the Cornish Coastal Path which we used extensively when walking our German Shepherd to and from Looe. The beach was very close indeed and there are lovely sea views from the property. Because our stay was in September we were able to take our dRead moreog onto the beach at anytime during the day and evening (high summer you may only take them morning and evening). Be aware there are 73 steps up to the property which we found difficult with the suitcases, I took the cases out of the car and took them to the first set of steps where my husband picked them up and took them to the property; there is a 30 minute unloading parking limitation and therefore you need to be as quick as possible. Parking is available at the large car park which costs 20 per week. The property was very comfortable, very clean and cosy with 2 sofas, coffee table, side table, lamps, very nice to sit there in the evening, watch tv and recuperate after a full day of touristy things. The kitchen is very well equipped, it had everything we needed for cooking such as pans, cutlery, scales, plates etc, Good size fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and cooker. The bathroom (no bath) has a good shower, toilet and basin which was adequate for the two of us. The two bedrooms are compact with a small wardrobe in each, there wasn't enough hangers (but I picked up some free ones' in Looe), the double bed was so comfortable, medium firm pocket sprung where I had the best sleep in years which is unusual for me as I don't sleep well normally. There is a cafe/ bar and the pizza shack at the beach but no little shop to buy basics unfortunately, the nearest would be Nisa which is a mile away at the campsite. There is a Co-op in Looe and a Morrisons at Liskeard which takes about 15 minutes by car, as expected there are some very narrow roads with passing spaces. We were blessed with some very nice, sunny weather and so took advantage of sitting outside on the terrace. We would definitely stay again. Hide
