We (2 adults and 2 children) had the most amazing stay at The Milking Parlour over the May bank holiday weekend. The cottage was spotless and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Im so used to bringing my own cleaning products and coffee when we stay away, but there was no need at all everything had been thoughtfully provided. The bedRead mores were incredibly comfortable, and the en suites were immaculate. A complimentary basket of drinks and snacks was such a lovely touch, and the hot tub was perfect to relax in after a day exploring the local area. Puzzlewood is only a short drive away, along with plenty of other attractions. The cottage is tucked away on a quiet country lane with very little passing traffic, overlooking the farms fields and barn. We found it wonderfully peaceful and relaxing. The biggest highlight for our children was definitely the hosts private swimming pool, which could be booked for an hour at a time and if nobody was scheduled after us, we were welcome to stay longer. The pool toys available to borrow were a huge hit with our boys! Our host, Gemma, was fantastic throughout very responsive and always happy to help. She even lent us a fan for the boys bedroom when the weather became unexpectedly warm. We would absolutely recommend The Milking Parlour for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway. Our boys are already asking when we can come back! Hide
