Pleasant little find for a week in Devon. Ticked all the boxes. Footfall upstairs was a bit noticeable sometimes.

Beautiful cottage in a lovely rural location. Be aware that the access lanes are very narrow but you soon get used to them. Our cottage was very pretty and well equipped. A tiny basement flat on the bottom corner of the main farmhouse where the owners live, we did hear them moving around above on occasions. The cottage itself was fine for the two of us and the dog, and the cottage amenities were fine. The supply of DVDs kept us well occupied in the evening. The shower was lovely. Please note that the route to the pub is not for the faint-hearted as it goes up (steeply) through some woods. The narrow roads are also not suitable for foot traffic.

Comfy cottage in a cool shaded valley. Kitchen not easy to cook in but there is a pub in the village. Lovely cream tea on arrival. Games room is a bonus. Lots to do in the area but the narrow lanes are a nightmare.

Following a difficult and stressful final 8 mile drive through narrow, unmarked lanes, the Cottage was a delight to eventually come upon. 10 out of 10 for walkers, situated on the edge of Dartmoor. Wonderful for returning to after chosen hikes, from several routed beyond the Cottage front door. Don't attempt to use the car until going home time.
