Make memories staying at this rural lodge in the tranquil countryside on a working farm and equestrian property near Abergele in North Wales. Modern horse stabling and a training arena are available to guests for an additional cost by arrangement. There’s no shortage of bridleways surrounding the farm either, so you can explore the local countryside on horseback. There’s plentiful walking, cycling, fishing and golf nearby too. Enjoy the perfect balance of countryside and coast staying here – with many beautiful beaches along the coastline, the nearest just 5 miles away. Your local town is Abergele (6 miles), offering pubs, shops, eateries and services to enjoy on your break. Experience a true Victorian seaside resort in Colwyn Bay (12 miles), where you’ll find golden swathes of sand for kids and dogs to enjoy, as well as a renovated pier. The tiny city of St Asaph (4 miles) boasts a truly impressive cathedral.

This comfortable property is accessed via two steps up from the asphalt drive, but the living accommodation is all on the ground floor. Enter the bright, open-plan living space, which includes a lounge area with comfortable seating around a wood burner. This space also has a dining area with a table and chairs next to the French doors opening onto the decking and garden, bringing the outside in. The modern kitchen is well-equipped and has plenty of space for fancy self-catering. A separate utility serves mainly as the laundry. The two cosy bedrooms offer flexible accommodation with traditional-style, chic furnishings. Both offer Freeview TVs and share a shower room.

Try out the rocking chair on the decked veranda that has seating and a table. From here, there is one step down into the enclosed lawned garden with a BBQ, private hot tub and views over the equestrian training fields. There’s private parking for two cars.

We have had great time the whole experience was fantastic, a lovely rustic lodge with everything you need, very peaceful. A great place to chill and unwind and the hot tub was an added bonus.
