A beautiful cottage in a very charming, historic village . We had everything we needed and all was top quality . The cottage was spotless , cosy and a great base to return to . The owner had very generously left a lovely cake and bottle of wine which were much appreciated. A great area to explore and we would love to return.

We would definitely recommend this property. The location could not be better: although the road is quite busy, the cottage is set well back in a private enclave behind a well-cared for, spacious shared garden, which makes for a peaceful atmosphere. The property is well-equipped, warm and very comfortable, and in addition has an attractive private Read moregarden leading down to the little river. The private, off-street parking space is an added bonus. Hide

This was our second stay at this cottage. Normally you see wear and tear over 12 months, but not in this case. The property was as clean and comfortable as when it was first made available. Prettily presented, clean and comfortable (plus gin!!!). Highly recommend this property.

The cottage is beautiful and in a beautiful location near the river. So nice to sing along to the Anglican Shrine bells a couple of times a day. A real retreat place.

This was my first time staying in this cottage, and it hopefully won't be the last! It's a genuine home-from-home, being cosy, comfortable and well-equipped. Set back from the (sometimes surprisingly busy road), it's an oasis of calm and quiet. There's plenty of space for four adults to sleep comfortably, aided by the downstairs WC/shower. The largRead moree private outdoor terrace is perfect for al fresco drinks and eating on warmer days. In short: a perfect place for a holiday! Hide
