We took my mum who is 92 and we found it perfect for her. Having a bathroom downstairs is a rare find when you dont want to be climbing the stairs every time. The beds were very comfortable and having the upstairs bathroom opposite mums room felt safe for her in the night. The church bells do ring on the hour every hour so I would recommend ear pluRead moregs if youre not a deep sleeper. We spent 4 nights here and managed to do so much with mum who thought it was wonderful We took her to Roys at Wroxham shopping Potter Higham to feed the ducks A trip out on the Paddle Steam Boat - excellent. Highly recommend. Horsey Gap to sea the seals on the beach A ride on the Steam Train from Sherringham to Holt and back then for a walk along the promenade (mum sat in her wheelchair for that). It was a really nice experience making happy memories. Hide

This is an excellent cottage for a short break (which is what we had). It is very conveniently placed right next to the village pub, for drinks and meals. And as the owner of the pub owns the cottage too, it is easy to get any issues sorted out. The pub closes quite early, so noise isn't a problem.

The location is gorgeous and the stables are comfortable. The restaurant at the back of the pub is nice with the garden is beyond it.

A nice clean cottage, very convenient for the local pub/restaurant (and the other delights of North Norfolk).
