Norwich, with its famous cathedral, is less than 20 miles away, or why not explore the stunning waterways of the Norfolk Broads by hiring a boat for the day?

Complete with limestone floors and granite surfaces with stunning artwork throughout, you enter this splendid barn through the rear of the property via French doors. The barn offers a bright, spacious open-plan space with a lounge/kitchen/diner. You instantly get a feel for the attention to detail throughout. The chef amongst you will love the space in the kitchen for preparing favourite culinary delights. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and for those true coffee connoisseurs, a built-in coffee machine. There is a large kitchen island, complete with three bar stools, should anyone want to grab a light snack. The large dining table can seat up to six people, so gather around with friends or family and exchange stories over some hearty cuisine. There is also a separate utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge is the perfect place to enjoy some social downtime, with sofas that ooze comfort as well as classic looks. Or you could choose to stream your favourite shows with loved ones and friends on the large Smart TV. Heading up a beautiful bespoke staircase you arrive in the hallway leading to two bedrooms. The first, a king-size bedroom, the second a twin room. Both rooms are equipped with Smart TVs, a wardrobe, drawers and an en-suite shower room with WC. Both rooms look out on to picturesque Suffolk fields of yellow and green, framed by an endless sky.

Outside is accessed from the kitchen via French doors and leads to a shared courtyard with plenty of seating. The property has its own private limestone constructed seating area with beautiful plants. Soak away those tired muscles in the hot tub and stargaze in blissful surroundings. There is private off-road parking for up to two cars.

The access road was very potholed and potentially could cause damage to a vehicle. We felt the property was rather tired and in need of some regular maintenance. There was a distinct lack of privacy as other renters from adjoining properties used the rear garden which was very intrusive.

Lovely cottage until the neighbouring properties decide they can come and play on the green in front of your hot tub! It says it is private but the owner says they are allowed to visit!! We are not sure if the owner knows the meaning of private. The neighbours have every right to play games in front of your private hot tub and outside dining area!!Read more When the owner says you can leave if you dont like it because he doesnt need your money! The property matched our expectations from the website pictures and description. It is very spacious, and comfortable. I think it is the most private of the 4 properties on the plot and patio with hot tub and furniture has open view to paddock/field abundant with wildlife. There are numerous villages within a short drive with pubs to eat in, and TeRead moresco/Aldi stores are just a few miles away too. We experienced a few equipment issues but the property manager was very good at sorting them out. Hide

We had a lovely stay here, very idyllic setting, very private sitting outside and enjoying the hot tub while watching the wildlife in the garden. We thought we were on an episode of spring watch. The cottage itself is lovely and spacious and has all amenities needed. We would recommend

A lovely house, with masses of room, both inside and out. A good pub is in the village, although it is probably a drive, rather than a walk, away, especially at night. The Duke's Head in nearby Somerleyton is also very good.
