History buffs can hop in the car and head to the intriguing Tintagel (8.5 miles), a magical place that is steeped in history and legend with a castle and several ancient sites to explore.
Set back from the road, you will find this deceptively spacious cottage. Step straight into an open-plan living space, the real heart of the home. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen area which has plenty of storage and surface space. Eat together at the statement dining table before putting your feet up on the plush sofas. Flick on the Smart TV or play games as you unwind on an evening. Sleeping arrangements are flexible with three king-size bedrooms all containing zip-and-link beds that can be arranged as twins on request. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor, while the other two are upstairs. The upstairs bedrooms both have en-suite shower rooms, while the one downstairs is adjacent to a family bathroom.
Doors from the living area lead out to the sheltered garden, which has both a lawn and patio space. Dine alfresco on the patio furniture which has views over the cliffs to the sea. Watch the sun set on the horizon as you sip evening tipples. Private parking for one car is also available.
