Set within a charming semi-detached brick townhouse in Sheringham, this spacious three-bedroom maisonette offers front-row sea views from its high-up location. Sheringham itself is a classic Victorian seaside town, known for its colourful beach huts and friendly local vibe. You’ll be just 200 metres from Sheringham’s beach (early-morning swim?) and 350 metres from its bustling High Street, making coffees and meals out straightforward. From the train station (350 metres), hop aboard a steam train to Holt (5.5 miles), a pretty Georgian market town brimming with cafés, galleries and boutique shops. History lovers will enjoy the 18th-century windmill at Cley next the Sea (7.5 miles), while nature and wildlife enthusiasts will no doubt make a beeline for natural spots like the Pensthorpe Nature Reserve (19 miles).

You’ll enter via a charming Georgian hallway and climb the stairs to this first and second-floor maisonette. Inside, this beach-inspired retreat features gorgeous wooden panelling and soothing colour schemes. In the living room, large sash windows frame those sweeping sea views – what a lovely backdrop for morning coffees or chats that go late into the night. The fully equipped kitchen is a lovely space for preparing hearty breakfasts and dinners, and there’s an attractive dining nook with a circular table for sitting down to dine. After a day exploring, kick back with a film on the TV or connect to the free Wi-Fi for a cosy night in. Cottage looks good but needs a bit of love, its position is great for the Shops, Restaurants and the Beach. Pease note there is no onsite parking as we were lead to believe.

We had a couple of issues with the booking side of things which were rectified the day we arrived. Be aware though there are 2 double beds and one single/twin and the ceiling height in the twin was v low in places. Nice apartment but sound travelled from the other apartments. Parking is on street where available.
