A lovely place to unwind . The Granary is at the end of a lane and next to a footpath so good if you have a dog . The owner meets and greets and is very welcoming always at the end of the phone for advice etc . The Granary is high end in terms of decoration and cleanliness. The bed is superb and great bedding . I am sure we will be booking again

Really attractive property that is ideal for short stays, even with a dog. The property has just a terrace and no lawn, but it is possible to take your dog for walks along the lane or in the woods adjoining. Very quiet, so enjoy the birdsong and the occasional cackle of the guinea fowl when they pass by! Handy for Bridport, West Bay, Hive Beach anRead mored the Jurassic coast in general. Most attractive inside with a large, comfortable bed and excellent bedding. Less ideal for long stays perhaps as no washing machine or washing up machine, and in cold weather you will use a lot of wood for the gorgeous woodburner. Hide

This cottage is in a very good walking area. Local pub The Greyhound inn Beaminster is the best one about. Excellent food with good value for what you pay and dog friendly. Shops in town are excellent - and have all essentials anyone might need locally.

Lovely 5 day break, plenty of places to go within approx 30 min drive. Very peaceful area and very pretty. Lovely restaurants and a nice pub (The Red lion) in the village. Mapperton House was worth a visit, although it closes in October for the winter. Anna was very nice and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed.

The cottage was warm and cozy but offered plenty of space for two people and a dog. Beautifully finished and tasteful design. The garden gate opened onto a hardly used public footpath which quickly lead to an open field. Perfect for dog exercise. 15 mins stroll into Beaminster with two pubs and a hotel with restaurant. Several cafes, butcher etc. Read more The coast is a 10 mile drive away. A really lovely cottage at the end of a no through road so very quiet. Warm amd friendly host so what more could you want!
