You can explore miles of footpaths and bridleways from the door to Beaminster, Parnham, Mapperton and Netherbury. Just 6 miles away, Bridport offers vibrant markets and dining experiences, while the coastal gems of West Bay (8 miles) and Burton Bradstock (10 miles) are perfect for beach trips and seafood feasts. The Jurassic coast is easily accessible, and you can enjoy stunning walks along the South West Coast Path. For breathtaking views, take on Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, located 12 miles from Beaminster, or explore the nearby Lewesdon Hill, 3 miles away, for panoramic vistas of the Dorset countryside.

From the lane open the door into the upper ground floor hallway, which has a charming twin bedroom leading from it. A short flight of stairs rise to the first floor with a beautiful super-king-size bedroom, complete with an en-suite bathroom. Also on this floor is a mezzanine-style reading nook or office space set in the eaves overlooking the lounge below – a perfect spot to relax or catch up on work. Head downstairs to the ground floor and a cosy snug with its comfortable sofa. Here you'll find another pretty twin bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is a separate shower room, ideal for use by the twin bedroom on the upper ground floor a short flight of stairs away. Next, you’ll be greeted by a stunning open-plan east-facing kitchen and dining area, where large windows offer beautiful views of the garden, countryside and woodland beyond - ideal for spotting wildlife. The central island makes meal prep easy, and there’s plenty of space for dining and socialising with loved ones. Enjoy lazy days in the adjacent spacious lounge with a vaulted ceiling, a Smart TV and a cosy wood burner.

Outside, enjoy the raised terrace, which leads down to a lawn area. There is a patio complete with outdoor furniture is ideal for al fresco dining, all set beside a serene stream that runs through the garden. We enjoyed our stay. Lovely cottage - very spacious and well maintained. Was like a home from home. Friendly owner. Quiet location but easy to walk into Beaminster. Would recommend.

Great location and fabulous property, perfectly fitting our requirements. The information folder was clear to understand and very useful. We met the charming owners who wished only to ensure that we had everything we needed. We definitely recommend a stay at this property.
