Walkers can head to Great Mell Fell and Little Mell Fell, with other local landmarks including Rookin House Equestrian and Activity Centre, Threlkeld Quarry and Mining Museum, Aira Force Waterfall and the Castlerigg Stone Circle, all within 8 miles. The bustling towns of Keswick and Penrith are both within 10 miles, as are the breathtaking lakes of Ullswater and Derwentwater.

Please note that the cottage has no outside space of its own, but there’s a friendly pub opposite and miles of country walks direct from the door. Parking is available for one car outside the cottage.
