A gorgeous former farmhouse in the green surroundings of West Wales, this inviting retreat makes a superb base for exploring the countryside and coast of Ceredigion. Sleeping seven guests, the four-bedroom property is perfect for families and groups of friends, and enjoys an elevated position just 1.5 miles from Dihewyd and 6.5 miles from Llanarth, capturing magnificent views out across the Aeron Valley. Head out from here on exhilarating walks and return to enjoy socialising together inside or soaking in the hot tub outside. Visit the National Trust’s impressive Llanerchaeron Estate, 5 miles away, with its walled garden, parkland, and Georgian villa. Venture 9.5 miles to enchanting New Quay on the coast, where you can browse the colourful shops, dine out, and spend time on sandy beaches. Follow the picturesque Ceredigion Coast Path alongside the bay to spot bottlenose dolphins, porpoises, and seals bobbing in the water.
Take a step up to enter the attractive farmhouse and make yourselves right at home. The bright, welcoming kitchen/diner is the perfect place to unpack the fresh Welsh produce you have sourced on your latest trip or to savour some of the delicious items the owners have provided in the welcome pack. Start whipping up dinner and find everything you need as you chop and cook. Call everyone to gather round the farmhouse table to dine. From here, a small hallway leads through to the lovely lounge. This is the perfect place to gather to play games, chat about your day, and watch the Smart TV together – all in the glow of the coal-effect electric fire. When you are ready to retire for the night, follow the stairs up from the hallway to your charming bedrooms. These include two double rooms, a twin bedroom, and a cosy single. Wake up in any of these bedrooms to glorious views out across the valley. There is also a modern family shower room where you can refresh after days of coastal adventures.
