Set on a wonderful country estate near Lincoln, this welcoming home offers the perfect base for families or friends. Just 5 miles from Lincoln city centre, it provides easy access to the historic cathedral, castle, shops, and restaurants. Closer to home, the estate itself has plenty to enjoy, including woodland walks, cycle routes, a farm shop, café, and a second café/restaurant. Guests can also visit the historic Doddington Hall and it's beautiful gardens, try a game on the estate’s padel courts, or browse the interiors and country clothing stores. A large Giant cycle shop on-site offers bike hire, making it easy to explore the area on two wheels. Whether you're picking up fresh local produce, enjoying a relaxed meal, or simply taking in the surroundings, there’s plenty to keep you entertained without needing to travel far.

Inside, the house is laid out with convenience and practicality in mind. The main living room provides a casual space to unwind, with sofas around a wood burner and a Smart TV for evening entertainment. The dining room has seating for ten and leads into a modern well-equipped kitchen. A utility room next to the kitchen includes a washer and dryer—ideal for longer stays or muddy walks. One ground-floor bedroom with bunk beds and an en-suite bathroom is especially useful for children or guests who prefer not to use stairs. Upstairs, the bedrooms are spread across two staircases. One side of the house has a king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, while the other includes a second king-size bedroom (also en-suite), plus two twin rooms with en-suite shower rooms. It’s a practical setup for larger families or groups.

Outside, the enclosed garden offers a quiet space to relax with a meal or enjoy a BBQ in warmer months. The estate shops and cafés are within walking distance, as are the padel courts. Private parking for up to four cars is available. This retreat is one of four holiday homes available to book on the estate, which is handy for larger groups travelling together.

We really enjoyed staying at Holly Farm Cottage. There were 9 adults and 2 children under 3, and we found all that we needed. That said, the bedroom beside the kitchen was adequate, and the only disappointment.

A very comfortable well equipped home. A great place to stay with family or friends on a beautiful Country Estate. An amazing farm shop and gift/clothing shop on site.

Perfect stay for a family get together. Very clean and comfortable. The Doddington Hall grounds are really special and provide perfect setting for countryside walks.
