This characterful holiday home is one of three tucked away on a peaceful smallholding on Strumble Head in Pembrokeshire. You’ll be surrounded by a network of scenic footpaths leading straight from your front door to coastal trails and nearby villages – excellent for cycling and walking. Just 3 miles away, the coastal town of Goodwick offers water sports and wildlife encounters, while dramatic cliffs and peaceful coves await in Fishguard (4.5 miles). Walkers will love the 3-mile stroll to the iconic 1908 Strumble Head Lighthouse, perched on its own little island, where you might even spot seals’ heads bobbing up near the shore. Beach lovers are spoiled for choice, with Abermawr (3.5 miles) offering a remote, pebbled stretch backed by earthy cliffs. Or take a short drive to Pwllgwaelod (9.5 miles), a small sandy cove with stunning views across to Fishguard Harbour.

Step into the hallway of this welcoming holiday home and head left into the cosy lounge, complete with sofa seating, a Smart TV and a wood burner for snug evenings in. On the right is a characterful kitchen/diner featuring a handmade wooden kitchen and a dining table for six – perfect for leisurely family meals. Also on the ground floor is a handy twin bedroom with its own en-suite shower room. Climb the stairs to reach the king-size bedroom and second twin, plus a family bathroom with a shower over the bath.

Outside, a gravel courtyard terrace with a picnic bench rounds things off nicely for al fresco dining in the fresh country air. While dogs must be kept on a lead around the property, there are acres of meadows and woodland to explore, offering plenty of space for walks. You’re also free to explore the land of the former Llandruidion Farm, where friendly resident animals await. Private parking is available for two cars.

We had a great stay. The property was obviously renovated with lots of care and suited our family excellently. The location is remote, so peaceful and has panoramic views out to the sea. Dan and Shani were very welcoming and helpful and we hope to stay again.
