The cottage was absolutely lovely. Very well equipped. We loved the kitchen, which had everything we needed and loved having a woodburner. The bed was extremely comfortable. We really appreciated the " welcome pack "...a really nice touch. The perfect self catering cottage for 2.

Such a lovely, little cottage. Absolutely spotless and well equipped. Perfect if you like hiking from your doorstep. Peaceful and quiet with lots of wildlife. Parking facilities are good. It is isolated with dark skies - amazing to see stars and shooting stars. Julia and Veejay were lovely hosts without being intrusive. The roads are very narrow Read morewith passing places but thats the price you pay for tranquility and stunning scenery. Definitely away from it all! Hide

Although perfect for us and the dog, as it was on the walking routes, it may be a bit remote for some. Personally we really liked the remoteness, the views were exceptional.

We loved staying in Curlew. A perfect place for 2 people and a dog, very cosy and great location for walks from the front door. The owner was very helpful and responsive during our stay. Would definitely come again in the future.
