This barn conversion is spacious, warm and comfortable, and would rate as one of the best barn conversions we have stayed in. Outside there is plenty of grass, and outdoor furniture which we would have enjoyed at a warmer time of the year. However, from leaving the nearest A road, the lane is 2.6 miles with passing places. Approach the property froRead morem the south, and the lane is tighter, and the passing places become more infrequent. The most frequent delay is not meeting other traffic (we only had to reverse once in our week), but the volume of pheasants running about in the lane. It took us on average 10 minutes to reach the A road, which meant that none of the places we visited were less than 30 minutes. You are staying on a pheasant shooting estate, but in fairness, we never heard a gun shot during our stay. Hide
