Nestled at the heart of St Dogmaels, this cosy ground-floor studio apartment is the ultimate retreat for couples craving a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life with scenic countryside walks are on your doorstep. The riverside village of St Dogmaels is nestled at the very beginning (or very end) of the spectacular Pembrokeshire Coast Path, which boasts views across the estuary of the River Teifi. Grab some tasty local produce from St Dogmaels weekly market or join the circular countryside walk from St Dogmaels Abbey half a mile away to soak up Pembrokeshire’s true beauty, as well as some special historical sites along the way. Poppit Sands is just 1.6 miles west of the village at the mouth of the Teifi estuary and offers an impressive dune landscape to explore, plus opportunities for swimming and various water sports.

At the heart of this home-from-home, the delightfully light and airy studio layout invites tired travellers to relax with loved ones at the end of a day’s adventuring. Soothing hues that blend with the colours of the breathtaking surroundings, along with contemporary country cottage touches reflecting the rich local heritage, set the scene for pure relaxation. Whip up some tasty treats, unwind weary walking muscles on the plush sofa or take a well-deserved rest between the sumptuously soft linens of the king-size bed bed. The sleek and stylish shower room provides everything you need from starting the day feeling refreshed to washing off a busy day before bedtime.

From sunrise to sunset, the enclosed decking is a haven of serenity; plan your next adventure as you sip your morning coffee or stargaze way past bedtime with a glass of something chilled. Outside, you’ll also find allocated parking for two cars.

Cottage was very good and in an excellent location for Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. Would definitely return.
