Escape to this beautifully designed barn conversion, set just outside the pretty village of Wilby in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. The charming village of Stradbroke is just over a mile away and offers a delightful mix of rural charm and community spirit. There is a small selection of independent shops including a bakery and traditional butcher. The surrounding Suffolk countryside is perfect for scenic walks and bike rides. Explore picturesque country lanes, woodlands, and nearby nature reserves. Head out slight further afield to visit the many historic landmarks across the region including the majestic Framlingham Castle (8 miles) and Helmingham Hall Gardens (13 miles). The Suffolk Heritage Coast is just a short drive away, well worth a visit to explore the popular coastal destinations of Southwold and Aldeburgh, both 20 miles away. In the other direction you have the idyllic Norfolk Broads, where you can enjoy boat trip and more awe-inspiring scenery.

After a busy day exploring the local area, make your way back to your rural retreat. The property is one of two properties within the barn conversion but offers total privacy in order to truly switch off and get back to nature. Make your way into the open plan ground floor, which is thoughtfully laid out to maximise the space. The owners have created another seating area, timber built a perfect spot to switch off with a drink or enjoy a good book.

Step outside into your private garden, with large patio and garden furniture, ideal to enjoy a meal alfresco, perhaps utilising the BBQ after visiting one of the many farm shops across the area. To the front of the property is a decked seating area overlooking the estates lake, perfect to enjoy a drink as the sun goes down. There is private parking to the front of the property for 2 cars.

We had a wonderful week in this property. Nice peaceful location. Couldnt have asked for more. Would stay again. Our dog loved the large and secure garden. Great host. Everything was 10/10
