In Witchingham there is plenty to see and do. Marriott’s Way, a well-known footpath and cycle route which stretches between Norwich and Aylsham is ideal for walkers and cyclists. Less than 2 miles away is Whitwell and Reepham railway station, perfect for families, with a museum, café, and the chance to ride on one of the trains. The market town of Reepham is just 3 miles and boasts a selection of pubs and cafes. For any golfers, the Royal Norwich Golf Club is only 2 miles away. It has a stunning 18-hole golf course as well as a challenging 6-hole academy course. The Norfolk Coastline and Norfolk Broads are not to be missed, with incredible beaches at Wells-Next-The-Sea and Cromer (within 20 miles). The Norfolk Broads is a popular spot for paddle boarding, canoeing, and boat hire.

This lovely property has been designed with comfort and relaxation in mind, and this is evident as soon as you walk through the door into the entrance hall, with space for guests to kick off their shoes and hang up their coats, and this flows seamlessly into the living area. This light and airy space with comfortable seating, including a sofa bed for extra guests if required, and a Smart TV, is the perfect place for taking the weight off your feet. Off from here, you will find the bathroom. Also off the living area is the kitchen/dining space which again benefits from a high-quality finish, the kitchen is well equipped with everything you could need to create a range of meals. Upstairs is where you will find the bedrooms, the king-size master bedroom, and the second bedroom with twin beds, they are both light and spacious rooms with a stylish finish.

Outside is an enclosed garden that wraps around the side of the property. You will also find a patio area with an outdoor table and chairs, as well as your very own private hot tub to relax in after a busy day. As well as this, across the parking area is a shared laundry building.

Property is nice but with a few small changes could be better. For example the outside area had a lot of stinging nettles and was very unkempt. Inside of property was nice but basic, a few personal touches and more comfortable mattress and settees would help. Just feels that minimum has been added at the cheapest cost, yes, it is a business, but duRead moree to the afore mentioned I would not return and it wouldnt cost much to make an improvement. Hide

We really enjoyed our stay! We loved how private the hot tub area was and having the enclosed space for the dog. On the first day we noticed that the remote control to TV needed new batteries and the owners were over very quickly to help and replace. Thank you.

Hedgehog Den was amazing. The owners are easy to communicate to. The garden with the added side was great for the dogs. They just wanted to be in it all the time. Nicely fenced in for dogs but still had a great view. The lodge itself was clean, nicely decorated and the bedrooms were spacious. Had a wonderful stay with friends at the weekend. it was very cold outside but the heating was great and the Xmas tree made it feel very festive! Everything we needed and more. Hot tub was fab!

We had a wonderful stay in Hedgehog Den. It was our first break away with our new born and it made it extra special with all the lovely Christmas decorations and lights. we had everything we needed and would recommend our stay to friends and family.
