There is a fabulous local pub nearby serving great food and perfect for a Sunday roast, a well stocked local shop and Post Office and access to walks over Bodmin Moor.  A short walk to the start of the Camel Trail for walking or cycling where you can find the fabulous 'Snail's Pace Café' and also close to local craft at Wenfordbridge Pottery. A country lane stroll away, you will also find the lovely St Tudy Inn. From the moment we arrived, we stepped into a corner of paradise where time seemed to stop. You can hear nothing other than the cows mooing in the field and the birds. We were welcomed by Jane and Ian who were very informative in regards to the local area. We had the most lovely welcome tray awaiting us, with cornish treats after a long drive. I Read moreended up with a slight addiction to the locally-made chocolate buttons, but thankfully Jane has a supply if you need/feel like buying more! The cottage itself is beautiful. The decoration is very tasteful. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked for holidaymakers and people who love to cook. My son appreciated the dvd/games room. I had the best night sleep in very comfortable beds. The location of the cottages are ideal for visiting both south and north coasts and Jane/Ian happily advised on local pubs etc. There is a secluded garden up a few steps with patio furniture/washing line. Lovely for eating alfresco in the evening. We had an amazing week away and will definitely be back. Thank you Ian/Jane. If you are considering visiting there then absolutely go for it, you will not be disappointed. Hide
