Located on the outskirts of the popular twin villages of Lynton and Lynmouth this lodge will provide a perfect base to enjoy all that the area has to offer. A verandah runs along two sides of the lodge to give you a bird’s eye view from which to survey the river, as it winds and cascades its way through the green and lush Exmoor countryside. A glazed door leads directly into an open plan living/dining room with a modern fitted kitchen. This comfortable living space has an inviting and cosy feel. From the living area an internal hallway leads to a double bedroom (with room for a travel cot), a twin room and a family bathroom. The covered verandah and patio area at the side of the lodge extends the living space and is a great spot for al fresco dining. This outdoor space also allows you to sit and while away the time listening to the sounds of the birds and the cascading water of the river, lulling you into peaceful relaxation. With a local character Inn serving good food close by, all the amenities of Lynton within a 10 minute exhilarating walk and easy access to Lynmouth via the famous cliff railway from Lynton this is an ideal location to enjoy a wonderful holiday amid beautiful countryside yet so close to the sea. This is an ideal spot for walkers with scenic country, riverside, coastal and moorland walks accessed directly from the property. The surrounding splendour of Exmoor offers many famous beauty spots all within a short drive including, Porlock Weir, Doone Valley and Tarr Steps. However for those who wish to venture further afield the popular coastal resort Ilfracombe with its choices of shops, galleries and restaurants are only approx. 30 minutes scenic drive whilst the glorious sandy surfing beaches of Woolacombe Bay are just a further 10 minute drive.
