Ringstead is a hidden prize tucked slightly inland from the west Norfolk coast just waiting to be discovered.  With houses in the village from the 16th Century and beyond, it is an attractive spot for a holiday.  The 17th Century village pub serves delicious meals using local produce and the well-stocked village store is a true delight, showcasing local food and drink, including an extensive ale list of local brews and also a series of rooms, full of things old and new, which is a treasure hunters delight!  The village is next to Ringstead Downs, an attractive chalk grassland located in a deep-set valley with The Peddars Way and Norfolk Costal Path also within easy reach.  The Ringstead Loop cycle route is part of the national cycle network, which passes through the village and runs for 23 miles if you have the legs for it! The wide beaches of the local coast are close by at Old Hunstanton, Holme-next-the-Sea, Thornham,  Brancaster and further afield at Holkham, Wells & Blakeney. Great for family days out, rock pooling, sand kiting, wind surfing with some amazing evening sunsets.  Less than 3 miles away, Thornham a popular coastal village, has a high quality deli/restaurant, several pubs. The cottage was well equipped and overall very comfortable except for rather hard mattresses. Great position and close to Hunstanton. We really enjoyed our stay with close family and the layout suited our family really well. Very good value. The Gin Trap in the village had amazing food and Eric's fish and chips at Thornham were also a big hit.

Lovely spacious cottage in a very picturesque village. The local pub - The Gin Trap was perfect for an evening drink and the local general store sold absolutely everything! There were 4 generations staying at the property and the downstairs bedroom and ensuite was a real bonus. Hoping to all go back again next summer!

Lovely spacious and well equipped cottage, with each room having its own bathroom. Perfect location for visiting beautiful Norfolk. Off road parking for 4 cars which worked really well for our group of 4 couples. Owners were helpful and promptly answered our questions.

Would rather not post a review. We enjoyed the stay on the whole and it's a lovely house but see the issues above.

Cant fault this house or Ringstead. Ringstead is so close to the coast and we all loved exploring this part of Norfolk. Best days out where in Wells, Burnham Market for shopping, and Thormham to the deli for lunch, a real lovely place to visit. We will be back and recommend to friends and family. Thank you.

A lovely cottage with everything we could need and a lovely village too. We ate a few times at The Gin trap - can also recommend The White Horse, Brancaster Staithe and The Globe, Wells. We had a lovely walk in Ringstead Common just south of the village. Also great days out in Old Hunstanton & Wells-Next-The-Sea.

This was a great base for a three generation family holiday. Very comfortable, spacious enough that we didn't feel on top of one another - a real top quality cottage.
