Set between Dartmoor and Exmoor, these national parks will keep walkers busy for hours, while the South and North Devon coastlines are also within easy reach. The county’s main city, Exeter is less than 20 miles away and offers plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions such as the Royal Albert Memorial Museum.
This spacious holiday cottage has been designed in an upside-down arrangement so that guests can truly appreciate the surrounding countryside views. Enter the property on the ground floor where the bedrooms are situated. There is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, which features a shower over bath and WC. There is also two separate twin rooms and a family bathroom with show shower over bath and WC, as well as a utility room with washing machine. As you climb the stairs you’ll notice the light that floods into the open-plan living space. From here, access the balcony and enjoy the view across the rolling countryside. The lounge offers comfortable seating, a Smart TV and an electric fire. The well-equipped kitchen/diner includes seating for six people around the table and there is an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
Stepping outside, guests have their own patio, which has a BBQ/fire pit and outdoor furniture. There is also access to an expanse of shared lawns, with plenty of room for all the family to enjoy. Guests also have access to a whole range of leisure facilities to keep the family busy, including free use of the shared heated indoor swimming pool (subject to availability). The onsite sports hall offers badminton, tennis, netball and football (charges apply). Other shared onsite facilities include snooker tables, a skittle alley, squash courts and a five-a-side all-weather pitch. Children can enjoy playing in the large outdoor adventure playground with zip slides, or in the indoor soft play area with ball ponds, climbing areas, slides and its own coffee shop. Carp fishing is also available nearby.
