Reviews

We loved our stay in this flat with its superb view over the bay. The beds were very comfortable and the flat was warm and clean. We will definitely be booking again.

Ms E,

Lovely location, very well equipped apartment. We really enjoyed our stay & have already booked again

Mrs W,

Central location to St Ives which is exactly what we wanted for Christmas. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook a Christmas dinner. The bed is the main bedroom was so comfy. This is Flat 1 on the ground floor and the only downside was we had noisy people in the flat above, not sure if this was a rented flat but it was constant for our whole stay

Mr B,

parking spaces very small for two cars scratched wing getting in

Mr P,

This flat is in an ideal position with lovely views of the harbour and island. The accommodation was well laid out, well equipped and very cosy, this was very much appreciated as our stay was in November. The owner contacted me before our stay to explain that there was scaffolding in place at the side of the building which would not impact our stay. It didn't but I thought that informing me in advance was a nice touch.

Mrs M,

We had the perfect week staying at Seabirds House. Our apartment had the perfect location, amazing view and was ever so comfortable. Our bed was a very good size and again comfortable. We definitely can’t wait to return.

Mr D,

A lovely clean and comfotable place to stay with wonderful views.

Mrs H,

Absolutely fantastic place, had to drag ourselves out away from the view every day. Apartment lovely and clean and spacious. Ideal location, and parking spot a bonus too! Not one for returning to same place but this makes break our rule!

Mrs S,

Really nice place, would book again. Pros: fab location, short walk to town and beaches, beautiful sea & headland views from the lounge. Key safe mean you could just walk the few mins to the beach in swimwear and leave keys & phone at home. Very clean, nice new furnishings, comfy beds & linen, amazingly powerful shower, everything worked. Outside space for drying wetsuits, towels etc, picnic table to eat outside looking across the bay. Cons: There is a parking space but it’s quite small & awkward - my estate car took some very careful manoeuvring to get in. To get out you need to reverse out & back up the hill, no room to turn. Fortunately the second space was unoccupied during our stay which helped but if 2 large cars would have been difficult. No washing machine. This wasn’t too inconvenient in good weather but might be a problem if getting wet & muddy each day, or with younger children.

Mrs H,

Comfortable, quiet. light and spacious apartment with spectacular views across St Ives. Great to be able to sit out on your own private terrace. A few minutes walk into town with a steep walk back up. Having a car parking space right behind the property is definitely a bonus.

Mrs G,

Had a brilliant 2 weeks here. Plenty of room and well equipped kitchen. Huge advantage having the parking space. Outside space with the views is stunning. Best value in St Ives

Mrs E,

Flat was clean, comfortable and well furnished. Views are fantastic, of course that did mean a steep climb back from the beach or town but worth it! Location is very quiet and we slept well. Parking space is very tight and access really depends on whether the person in the adjoining space has parked considerately.

Ms B,

Easy to follow arrival instructions. Everything was perfect.

Miss C,

Wonderful view over the harbour in a great location, having parking is a huge advantage. A very steep hill up from the harbour, but that’s St Ives!! Very comfortable beds.

Mrs C,

The flat is very spacious and well furnished, all the basic are there and a few extra touches. i stayed here in 2019 and its had a major overhaul since then. The bedrooms are of good size and plenty of storge for clothes, the main bedroom has a desk should you need to do any work like myself. Modern Tv set up and good WIFI at the property. Heating was good and easy to use system. The views are quite something is the weather is good.

Mr T,

Great views and nice walk into town. The parking is a real bonus. Beds and seating very comfortable . Would definitely stay again.

Mrs G,

Lovely location & well kept property. We really enjoyed our stay & have already booked again.

Mrs W,

This was our first time in St Ives and to spend it over Christmas at 1 Seabirds was just perfect the views are amazing. The apartment was so clean and bright with everything we needed at hand. Just a short walk into St Ives where there are plenty of restaurants, pubs & shops, it is quite hilly but I found it a good exercise. There is also a parking space outside which was a great help

Mr T,

Location

St Ives is one of Cornwall's top destinations and a beautiful seaside town where visitors can enjoy a traditional beach holiday with a twist. It's easy to understand why the town has been attracting painters, sculptors and ceramists for decades with its stunning scenery and natural quality of light- one of only four Tate Galleries in the world is located here in the heart of the town. The town itself arcs around the working harbour- the heart of the historic fishing community. You could lose yourself for hours in the charming cobbled streets which are crammed with gift and craft shops, art galleries, top notch restaurants and welcoming local pubs- a real treasure trove just waiting to be explored!

St Ives also has four fabulous beaches, Porthmeor, Porthgwidden, Harbour beach and Porthminster which between them offer miles of golden sand and hours of building sand castles, playing in the rock pools and other family friendly activities.  Throughout the year, St Ives has a busy event calendar including the St Ives Food & Drink Festival in May and a Music & Arts Festival in September.
