Pencarreg, situated within moments of the South West Coast Path in a spectacular, cliffside location on the south Cornwall coast, provides superb accommodation for a family or friends sharing.  This remodelled, reverse-level house has been designed to make the most of the sensational views across the bay stretching as far as the eye can see. The glistening waters of the ocean spread out ahead of you from the expansive deck which is home to a seven-seat hot tub and a great outdoor social area.  The stylish, spacious interior has been finished to a high standard with wooden flooring, three super king bedrooms (two with flexible options) and one twin - all with TVs, a luxurious well-equipped kitchen which forms part of the open-plan living area and a full set of bi-fold doors lead out to the deck providing a splendid outlook from sunrise to sunset. The master bedroom with en suite also has double opening doors to the deck and you can wake up to an incredible view from this room.

For days out head down onto the coast path with your picnic and turn west into Polruan then catch the foot ferry from the harbour across to Fowey or head east towards Lantic Bay and marvel at the stupendous views along the way. This unspoilt corner of Cornwall provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing holiday and Pencarreg is a great base for exploring further afield if you can tear yourself away from those views.

On the whole the property was really nice and has been the best place we have stayed in Cornwall so far, although a little pricey maybe.

The property is excellent for sea views and if you like walking. It is very well equipped and was very clean. The only drawback is it is probably the most remote place I have ever stayed. All roads out are single track and require you to circumvent the headland. There is a ferry to Fowey but at 5.60 return it gets very expensive for a family ofRead more 5.
