Reviews

A very pet friendly cottage. Great location out in the country and near to all amenities. Great place to stay. Loved it.

Mr B,

The property was exceptionally clean and well decorated throughout with a very well equipped kitchen for those who like self catering and thought had been put into making it feel like home with games and DVDs as well as Netflix. Very quiet and peaceful location with lovely walks right on the doorstep. Excellent base for exploring the local attractions and towns nearby.

Mrs W,

Wow what a lovely cosy cottage is and our dogs loved it will definitely return

mrs L,

A perfect break, in lovely cottage, in a fantastic setting. We will definitely be coming back.

Mr N,

Well appointed cottage in excellent location. Jenny could not have been more helpful!

mr E,

Lovely tiny cottage for two, tucked out of the way, great for a quiet break!

Mrs E,

Such an excellent stay. It had everything we as a couple needed. The location was great. Even being 30weeks pregnant, it was still nice to drive to all the town's close by and have a wonder. So it's not just for keen countryside walkers!

mrs M,

Location

The town of Looe has charming narrow streets leading down to a picturesque harbour, and is split into East and West Looe by the river that runs through it, and on down to the beach.  Looe's sandy beach has a little cafe where you can linger over a cup of coffee while people-watching or admiring the view. There are a number of lovely cafes, as well as restaurants and pubs to choose from, making this a great destination for the foodies among you. You will have the opportunity to buy freshly-caught fish from the market on the quay, or if you fancy it, go out on a fishing trip to have a go at catching your own! If you don't fancy fishing, a good alternative boat trip is to Looe Island, where you can find some lovely examples of rare plants, and spot plenty of wildlife, including grey seals and seabirds.  Looe Marine Conservation Group can give you more information about the island and its wildlife. Looe is said to be a wonderful place to enjoy the New Year festivities, a time when many happy party-goers in fancy dress descend upon the town to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a magnificent display of fireworks.
