If you are heading down to South Devon for a short amount of time, why not head to the popular market town of Dartmouth?

There is so much to do in this bustling town, from exploring the Dartmouth Castle and stunning coastline to sampling local seafood and taking a boat trip along the River Dart, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy.

We even asked a couple of our recent guests what they would do with a weekend in Dartmouth....

“A walk to the castle to have a coffee in the cafe. A river boat ride to Totnes and back, a pint in The Cherub, Seven Stars and Dartmouth Arms. Then a trip to Torcross for fish and chips in The Start Bay pub.” - Steve, Facebook

“A wander around the shops and backstreets, fish and chips out of the wrapper while sat on the quay with our legs dangling over the edge, a walk to the castle and beyond, a swim off Blackpool Sands and dinner at Kendricks. Perfect weekend in my favourite place in the world.” - Yolanda, Facebook

“I would spend the weekend admiring the gorgeous Dartmouth!” - Kris, Instagram

So what are you waiting for? Hit the shops, discover hidden back streets and treat yourself to fish and chips on the harbour wall whilst watching the boats bob by. Your adventure awaits… check out our range of Self-catering holiday cottages in Dartmouth today!
