Think Farmers Market, think a walk through the countryside to Ightham Mote for a refreshing cup of coffee, think lunch at The Chaser Inn - if this sounds good to you, then read on! The farmers market is set up in the grounds of St Giles church at Shipbourne and runs from 9.30am to 11am on Thursday mornings. The produce is fantastic and all their wares are set out in front of the lovely old church. If you continue through the churchyard and follow the yellow markers it will take you on a circular route via the Fairlawne Estate to the National Trust property Ightham Mote. Great cakes and lovely coffee, a little sit down and then off again to finish off the circular walk back to the churchyard in Shipbourne.

As luck would have it, right next door to the churchyard is The Chaser Inn. This hostelry allows dogs, even muddy and wet ones, to come into the conservatory where you can enjoy a fabulous lunch. This is an easy walk and is a great way to see the beautiful countryside while exercising your four legged friends.
