Some love it some hate it, but we all have to do it Christmas shopping! Why not get people something a bit different this year there are so many uniquely different products at the Torbay  Christmas markets to add a bit of magic to the day. Not to mention the fabulous atmosphere that often comes along with being in a bustling market place, there are amazing smells of foods, mulled wines, and homemade treats filling the air. People are chatting and laughing over the sound of carols old and new.

Torquay has a lovely Christmas market in Lower Union Street on the weekend of 25th-27th November. It’s always a great atmosphere with over 40 stalls for you to look round. After a hard days shopping you can always retreat to one of the harbour side café’s.

Brixham also has a brilliant Christmas market that’s right by the harbour. It’s there for the switch on of the Christmas light and the lantern parade which is ideal for children you can make a whole day of it, create your lantern in the morning in the Brixham Scala hall 10am-1pm. You can then show off your master piece in the parade at 5pm (meeting by rockfish at 4:45) there lots of entertainment and fireworks. All in all, a brilliant day out and to get in some shopping on Saturday 25th November.

Totnes’s late night Christmas market takes please every Tuesday in December from 15:30- 21:30, They have carol singers and market stall up and down the high-street, you are bound to find something totally unique at this Market.

Finally, one of the biggest Christmas markets in the area, is held in Exeter right by the City Cathedral. The location of this market is what makes it different to the others for me, its reminding you that in all of the madness what Christmas is about and why we are Celebrating. The market is in place from the 16th November to the 15th December, so plenty for time to visit. This is a market that has a mix of continental stalls and locally made goodies, so lots to pick from.

If any of these markets of tickled your fancy, please get in contact and we can send you over some perfect holiday.
