Supporting Great Causes

Throughout the Original Cottages family we are proud to support a number of wonderful causes close to the hearts of our staff, holidaymakers and homeowners.

We want to make sure our great outdoors is always there to surprise and delight you, which is why we’re proud to support the following partners. We'd encourage you to read more into the work that these partners are doing and get involved if you can.

"As Corporate Members, Original Cottages demonstrate their support for wild flowers, plants and fungi - which are the life support for all our wildlife. Their colour and character light up our landscapes, but this priceless natural heritage is in danger of being lost. The support from Original Cottages helps our dedicated conservation experts work to save our rarest flora and ensure familiar flowers and plants continue to thrive."

Our long-term projects are producing meaningful and tangible results. For more information on our work please see our website www.freshwaterhabitats.org.uk

We exist on the generosity of others, so business members like Original Cottages and donations from our fantastic supporters are vital in enabling us to carry out our essential work, reversing bumblebee declines and raising awareness of the importance of these invaluable, wild pollinators.”

Cornwall Wildlife Trust logo

“Original Cottages have demonstrated their commitment to Cornwall’s wildlife and wild places by being part of our Business Supporter Scheme. We are thrilled to have the support of a business that clearly cares for its natural environment, and wants to encourage their visitors to enjoy its natural resources. The Trust benefits from its Business Supporter Scheme which raises much needed funds to help protect Cornwall’s wildlife both on land and in our seas through many projects. The Trust also cares for 59 nature reserves all over the county; protecting, improving and creating habitats for wildlife, which contributes greatly to Cornwall’s character”.
