Cottages in Dymchurch

Located on the edge of the Romney Marshes, Dymchurch is a delightful coastal village in Kent. We have a range of holiday cottages to rent in Dymchurch and the Kent coast at large. Choose from luxury homes, dog-friendly accommodation and more across this part of Kent’s south east coast, including in neighbouring Hythe.

Dymchurch has a gorgeous sandy beach that is just one of many of Kent’s beaches to be awarded blue flag status. The beach itself is a mighty 3 miles long and isn’t just good for swimming and sandcastle building, but it is a popular walking and cycling spot. The wide promenade that backs onto the beach is perfect for safe cycling, and there is also plenty of parking near the beach.

If you have little ones in tow, be sure to take them to Dymchurch Amusement Park, complete with classic rides, games and arcades. There’s also a soft play and cafe, on top of dodgems, a ghost train and everyone’s favourite – a log flume. The village’s high street is also lined with seaside delights, including chippies and ice cream parlours so everyone can fill their boots on their favourite by-the-sea treats.

If you fancy seeing more of the Kent coast in a unique way, be sure to add a trip on the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway steam train. The historic railway takes you through one of the most scenic stretches of Kent and is fun for all the family, including dogs as the railway is one of many of Kent’s pet-friendly attractions.
