Fishermen still pull their colourful boats up on the shingle beach and sell fresh fish from the picturesque huts. The wide, mainly Georgian high street has many attractive buildings whilst the seafront properties all have commanding views of the beach and the North Sea. A tidy apartment with all that you need for a mini break. Two toilets a definite plus for a property this size. Location a short walk to the high street.

OK for couples. Furniture is dated and upstairs area is dark and unwelcoming. The complementary biscuits/milk were out of date. Suggest buying a pint of milk and a packet of plain biscuits as opposed to 'packaged'. The flush mechanism in the main bathroom needs replacing. The water 'fill up; went on for hours! The apartment was spotless. We didnt cook, but the kitchen seemed well equipped if you chose to do so. Comfortable bed, good shower. Living area is compact. Possibly a bit snug for more than 2 people, but we found it comfortable. We used the lower (twin) bedroom as the bathroom is also on the lower floor and it saved using the spiral staircase. LotRead mores of storage space in both bedrooms. The location of the property was perfect. Under 15 minute walk to the top end of the High Street. Beach just around the corner. Aldeburgh has lots of independent shops and many excellent places to eat. Id recommend it! Hide

Very well located apartment with coveted in Aldeburgh parking for two cards. Second bedroom, with wc, is accessed via a spiral staircase which maybe an issue for people with mobility issues. The kitchen is very small though with all the usual equipment. I think it is more for parents with two children rather than 4 adults.

really good location, and parking space a bonus. Good view and able to hear the sea. Might not suit someone with limited mobility ; on first floor and access to double bed is a spiral staircase. Reasons for not recommending to a friend are the issues noted above.

The mast has an excellent location with off road allocated parking in the courtyard. However it seemed a little tired in decor and could do with a more welcome look. The double bed was lumpy and the sofa was rather uncomfortable. Overall the property is very well equipped but the accommodation overall is basic. The mast is ideally situated for staying in Aldeburgh especially with the private parking spaces. The apartment is looking a bit tired and therefore could do with a bit of TLC. The main television was a nightmare to use having to go into the apps to watch live TV, which kept on buffering and cutting out so we mainly watched the TV in the bedroomRead more. Hide

We had a good 4 night break at The Mast. Location is perfect and having dedicated parking spaces a real bonus in Aldeburgh. For two adult couples the property would be a a bit tight on space, but would be manageable. Two adults and two children would work fine. We were a couple so no issues for us. This is a very decent property, and we would certainly choose it again. It is well situated, and with dedicated parking for two cars pretty unusual in Aldeburgh, where on-street parking can sometimes be difficult. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues being up fairly steep stairs for access. We were warned in the property details aboRead moreut wifi signals being variable in that part of the town, and this is definately the case. The apartment itself is very well appointed with a good range of equipment and well positioned in the town, you cannot fault that at all.
