This is a beautifully-kept, cosy and comfortable cottage on a quiet lane in a very attractive small village. It was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and out two dogs loved the secure garden. The property is very well situated for walks in the local area (leaflets available at the parish church) and only a few minutes from Saxmundham anRead mored Leiston for shops. The coast is only a few minutes further away: Thorpeness, Aldeburgh, Dunwich and Southwold. A slight drawback at present is the volume of construction traffic for Sizewell C, and unexpected road closures, but these are easily avoided (and on the plus side, Sizewell C have are paying for the car park at Sizewell Beach to be free! Lovely house, very well stocked kitchen. Garden is very lovely, nicely tended to and brilliant for the dogs. Great for sitting outside in the sun too. They have a baby gate which is really handy so you can shut dogs into the kitchen/dining area.

The cottage was perfect in every way and the secure garden was great for anyone with a dog but dont do what we did just before we left on our last morning, we managed to let our dog escape into the lane through the front door! Some very kind neighbours helped us to catch her but it took a while. We would definitely like to stay again and would be Read moremore careful. Hide

This is a cosy cottage in a lovely quiet village location. Sadly the farm shop is no longer there but the chocolate producer is well worth a visit. There are plenty of other places to visit such as Westleton Common and Minsmere and quiet roads and footpaths making it a great location for exploring the countryside. Good cottage, well situated for Minsmere and the surrounding villages. Good equipment, but we found the mattresses rather uncomfortable, but adequate for a short stay. Beautiful to sit outside and listen to the birds. Very quiet location which we loved.

We had a delightful 3 night stay at Friday Place. Thanks for accommodating us at such short notice. The village and location was lovely. We were fortunate to experience music night laid on by the locals in the village pub (The Bell) which is only a short distance away and had great food. Great location to visit neighbouring villages such as WesRead moretleton. Also about halfway between Aldeburgh and Southwold. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Big enclosed back garden which backs on to fields. Hide

A very pleasant cottage for a short stay. Much more airbnb than a 4*/5* cottage. Situation excellent but let down by minor internal faults.
