We had a very cosy and comfortable stay at Ty Newydd. The cottage was warm at all times and the log burner was a real bonus. The cottage is on a steep narrow lane and parking can be tricky. Nevertheless, you are within a stone's throw of some quite magical scenery which is a must for walkers and nature lovers. Dolgellau is a great base for exploratRead moreion and has some lovely shops and pubs. It is enchanting in all seasons. Hide

The location of the cottage was perfect for exploring the area and attractions we wanted to visit during our time there. We found it very peaceful and quiet. The welcome basket was a nice touch, we enjoyed the local produce offered to us.

This cottage was in a fabulous location. Parking is limited but the owner kindly moved her car twice so we could park closest to the cottage. The cottage was well serviced. We had a lovely holiday in Dolgellau. The welcome basket was much appreciated.

A pretty, comfortable and well equipped cottage. It was used as a base for a weeks walking in the wonderful south Snowdonia. It proved to be the ideal base for this, if hill walking is not your thing I can see this cottage also making an ideal base for the beaches of West Wales. A great place to stay, recommended
