Come home in the evenings from the many wonderful attractions available in this part of Cornwall, to a delightful, well equipped, cosy bungalow. The picturesque town of Padstow, having shops, restaurants and galleries, is just 4 miles away. Bikes can be hired to allow you to explore the Camel Estuary between Padstow and Bodmin, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, stopping for a Cornish cream tea along the way. St Merryn Park is only 2-3 miles away from a number of beautiful sandy beaches, much loved by families and surfers alike. Whether you are a keen walker, or just prefer a gentle stroll, you can pick up the coastal path at several points nearby, taking in dramatic clifftop scenery at any time of year. The village of St. Merryn has surf shops, pubs, restaurants, takeaways, food stores, and a petrol station, and is just over a mile away. Facilities on St Merryn Park include sports bar, bar serving food and tennis courts (seasonal opening times may apply to all facilities).  However, Atlantic Bays and Maribou Park are both close by where you will be welcome to have a drink or meal, or why not bring a takeaway back to the picnic table and just relax in Manassa's pleasant garden?

Kitchen: Built in electric oven, ceramic hob, refrigerator, microwave, washing machine, door leading out to garden.
Bathroom: Bath (electric shower over), basin, w.c, fan heater and heated towel rail. 
Bedroom 1: Double bed (4'6"), wardrobe with drawers, chest of drawers, bedside tables, chair, hair dryer.
Bedroom 2: Twin beds (3'), wardrobe, bedside table, wicker chair.
Bedroom 3: Bunk beds (2'6"), bedside shelving unit, chest of drawers, chair.

GARDEN & PARKING: Garage unavailable for use but there is ample space for cars to park on the road.  The fully enclosed garden, which is mainly lawn, has a picnic bench and is bounded by a Cornish hedge (stone wall) and gate at front and fence to rear.

Pets Welcome: Maximum 2; £25 per pet per week. 
Power and Heat: Electricity included in rent, PV solar panels; electric fire and 2 panel heaters in lounge/dining area, electric heater bathroom, electric panel heaters all other rooms. 
Baby Equipment: None but can be hired.
Shop: 1 ml  Pub: On site, otherwise 1 ml

fabulous clean comfortable cottage, everything we needed, beds comfy, enough pillows, and bedding. Good enclosed garden for the dogs. tv and internet fab. site was very quiet, not much to do onsite, but plenty of exploring to do off site, go karting not too far down the rd, pubs, lots of beaches to explore. The location of the house is very good: everything is easily accessible by car, and the beach is only a few minutes away. The house is situated in a quiet area, with hardly any noise from the neighbours ideal for relaxation. The facilities are overall good: the kitchen provides everything you need for cooking. The garden is spacious enough for reRead morelaxing outdoors a barbecue would have made it even better. On the grounds, there is also a pub with very friendly people and a great atmosphere, perfect for a nice evening. Unfortunately, the cleanliness upon our arrival was well below expectations. Glasses were greasy, cups still had coffee or tea residues, and the oven and stove were greasy and stained. Coffee stains were visible on the kitchen surfaces, and the floors in the kitchen and bathroom were in need of mopping. Under the beds, we found old bottles left behind by previous guests and worst of all: a half-eaten chicken wing and a partly consumed lollipop. In this condition, we cannot recommend the house. However, after a thorough cleaning, it could be a very nice holiday home thanks to its location, facilities, garden, and the lovely pub on the grounds.Holidaycottages.co.uk response:- Thank you for your constructive review. Fantastic little bungalow. comfy, cosy and warm, everything you need. Its like home from home. Its also central to some fantastic beaches. 2nd time here, will book again for next year.

We found 'Manassa' cosy, warm and relaxing during our New Year stay. Home from home and very well equipped for home cooking. The bungalow was christmas decorated including chocolates on arrival (we re-filled the bowl with new chocolates as a thank you). The tea tray and milk was a much needed welcome on our arrival. We thoroughly enjoyed the locatiRead moreon which is set within the 7 bays for 7 days. We visited Trevone beach which was a real treat, after 17yrs of visiting the area in the summer in our tourer we have always been unable to get near Trevone. All beaches are a short drive away and dog friendly. Hide

In a lovely place & the site is lovely & clean , the shop stocks lots of everything, the restaurant/ breakfast place is ok, some of the tables could do with replacing, staff were very friendly & pleasant, the little arcade was ok, we didnt go upstairs to the sports bar so i cant comment on that, Tennis courts are ok but you have to take your own raRead morecquet & ball. A beautiful, clean, well equipped, spacious bungalow. The enclosed garden was lovely for our 2 fur-babies. The welcome tray with tea/coffee, milk in the fridge and chocolate biscuits was lovely to have after a long drive to Cornwall. Everything you need for a lovely stay.
