54 Stradbroke Road is in the heart of Southwold, just along from the lighthouse. A fabulous period holiday home on the Suffolk coast with shops, cafes pubs and of course the beach all within reach!

This delightful traditional brick build property is beautiful, decorated in a neutral palette with stripped wood floors and lovely furnishings. The spacious self catering accommodation is over three floors with five comfortable bedrooms sleeping nine guests. From the moment you step inside you’ll feel at home, this coastal holiday property is well equipped with everything you need - the kitchen/diner has a farmhouse style table and chairs, dishwasher and plenty of utensils to conjure up your favourite dish. A cosy sociable space, perfect for relaxing and chatting over dinner with a glass of wine. If you’re in need of a little ‘me’ time why not grab a coffee and a book and take refuge in the courtyard garden… there’s a little table and chairs with your name on it!  

A holiday in Southwold is on everyone’s wish list, this traditional seaside town is famous for its iconic lighthouse, pier and pretty beach huts. The food is something special too, dine out on some of the freshest seafood around… just switch off your phone, kick off your shoes and relax.

Shop 0.1 miles, pub 0.1 miles, coast, beaches and pier on the doorstep.

Why we love this property… an outstanding holiday home in the heart of Southwold, just 100 yards from the beach - perfect for a get together with family, friends and the kids... you can take the dog too!!

Ground Floor: open plan sitting room: two sofas, arm chair, table and chairs, TV/DVD player. Kitchen/diner: electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, (fridge/freezer and washing machine in scullery) and table and chairs. Shower room: shower, washbasin and WC.

First Floor: Bedroom 1: king size bed. Bedroom 2: twin beds. Bedroom 3: single bed. Bathroom: bath with shower over, washbasin. Separate WC.

Second Floor: Bedroom 4: double bed. Bedroom 5: twin beds and washbasin. Shower room: shower cubicle, washbasin and WC.

Parking: on street parking.
Outside: small rear courtyard with seating for two.
Sleeps: 9 (8 adults & 1 child) in 5 bedrooms - 1 x king/super-king bed, 1 x double bed, 5 x single beds
Minimum hire: 3 nights. High season minimum stay 1 week.
Pets: one well behaved dog welcome. Please note: Dogs are not permitted upstairs.

Wi-fi: Limited broadband / WiFi service is provided. Internet reception can be patchy and the connection provided should NOT be relied on for work use, unsuitable for games or downloading of films. Please bring connection cables as you may have to attach your laptop to the router. Excessive use of the internet will be charged at cost.

The property has Holiday Home membership at Southwold Golf Club. This allows one person occupying the property at any time to play golf and enjoy the clubhouse facilities for free. It also allows other household occupants to enjoy discounted member guest green fees. Household guests wanting to use this facility need to provide evidence that they are occupying 54 Stradbroke Road if they want to take advantage of this facility. Southwold Central - The properties located in central Southwold are all within minutes of the market place, with the elegant Swan Hotel, an excellent range of small shops including a greengrocers with fresh local produce, family butcher and delicatessen. The upper promenade is ideal for a peaceful stroll at any time of the year and provides quick access to the beach and of course, the lighthouse in the town is a good landmark. There is also easy access to the common and a nearby footpath takes you down to the harbour with the foot ferry to Walberswick (summer only). Don't forget that the beach is never very far away!
